You only pay after a service is complete, so if your scooper fails to show then you are not billed! For example, if you subscribe to a 3x/week plan but your scooper only comes twice this week, you are only billed for two pickups — not three! If you subscribe to a 1x/week plan but your scooper fails to show, you are not billed at all for that week.

Scoopers charges your card on file once per week for all services completed that week. Billing only occurs after a service is complete. No, you do not need to be home. Just make sure your yard is easily accessible by your scooper. If you need to leave any notes to your account, like a gate code, you can do this on sign-up or on the “Profile” page.

If you have push notifications enabled, you will receive an alert when your scooper is on his or her way, as well as when the service is complete.

When a pickup is “In Progress,” you can send your scooper a message on the Scoopers app by pressing the “Chat” icon at the top-right of the Home screen. You can also call your scooper directly by pressing the “Call” button on the messaging page. You cannot contact a scooper while your service is “In Queue” or “Completed.”

No, you can leave your dogs outside while your scooper services your yard. However, if your dog is very territorial or aggressive, we ask that you secure your dog indoors. Scoopers is very keen on safety and will not attempt to enter a yard if a dog is showing signs of aggression. If a scooper feels threatened, they may defend themselves with dog repellent, similar to a mail carrier. If an animal is showing signs of aggression or the yard point of access is locked, you may still be charged for the visit.
